We take responsibility for more than the plaster: the damaged area is stripped out, reinstated, plastered, finished and decorated, returning the property to the condition it was in before the loss.

The Process
Seven stages, from first inspection to completed reinstatement.

Site Inspection
We attend the property, assess the damaged area and record its condition. Photographs are taken so the extent of the loss is documented before any work begins.

Scope of Works
A clearly defined scope is prepared describing what will be removed, reinstated and finished, so it can be reviewed and approved before works proceed.

Strip-Out & Remedial Preparation
Saturated or damaged plaster, plasterboard and finishes are removed and the area is prepared. After water damage this aligns with the drying regime before reinstatement begins.

Reinstatement
Plasterboard and substrates are replaced, ceilings are repaired or rebuilt, and decorative details such as coving and cornice are reinstated to match the existing.

Plastering & Finishing
Plastering is carried out to a smooth finish ready for decoration. Traditional and modern plaster systems are used as the property requires, with existing details matched.

Decoration
The reinstated area is decorated to the finish quality the property had before the loss, with other relevant trades coordinated where required.

Completion
The area is handed back complete, with progress and completion documentation available on request for claims handling.
